Twelve Percent

I completed our taxes today. 12% is the increase in our tax bill because of the "large family penalty" that reduces the child tax credit if your family is too large. It would seem that large families are something government ought to promote, rather than punish, because of the need for continuous tax revenue growth and the coming stress on SocSecurity.
