Call a Spade a Spade

I went to Catholic Packer Fan looking for some Norris Division draft analysis and amazingly didn't find any. I did find a post where he will now use the labels "orthodox" and "progressive" when referring to religious viewpoints, rather than "conservative" and "liberal." Here is my comment:

Why not "heterodox" rather than the misleading and often inaccurate "progressive?" Consider how these not uncommon Western practices pre-date the Church, or its current Tradition, and are presented as evidence of being "behind the times:"

• Homosexuality (Culturally sanctioned, including man-boy practical unions)
• Polygamy
• Abortifacients/infanticide
• Priestesses/deaconesses
• Married clergy

Just who is "progressive," and who is "regressive?"
