Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick...

Something of a perfect storm is brewing: Failed crops, escalating violence, and political disdain. I find myself hoping that the energy of a new papacy can make a change here. We need a cultural shock to the good. (cap tip: Coalition for Darfur)
