An All Too Commonly Distorted View

The Catholic Report links to a story that quotes Archbishop Jose Gomez of San Antonio as saying that many Catholic politicians do not understand their faith. This is almost one for the DUH file when I consider in hindsight how little I learned about the Catholic faith despite 12 years of Catholic schooling and something I didn't really appreciate until almost 7 years ago, after I saw Pope John Paul the Great in St. Louis. So what we have here is a case where our representatives are indeed representative. May the Light shine before all.
